THE VEIL WAS TORN

Daily Verses : Matthew 27 : 50 – 51, Hebrews 10 : 19 – 22, 4 : 14-16

Key Verse : Matthew 27 : 50-51a : And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom;

By offering His life as a perfect sacrifice, Christ has already opened up a way for those who believe in Him to come before God and the throne of grace. This was symbolized by the veil that was torn into two. Now, we are able to come boldly in the presence of the Lord freely, without any guilt that we are unworthy to come before the Lord, Hebrews 4:16. Everyone who receives Christ in their heart, forgiveness of sin, and the sanctification through His blood, have the honor to come into His presence. Therefore as a believer, let us gratefully come before God in our prayers with courage and confidence because God will surely hear our prayers. Whenever we want to come into the presence of the Lord, there will no longer be a veil that prevents us from meeting with God. Every time we need Him, we can always come to Him and pray. Our relationship with God will be closer and more intimate, just like the relationship that a father may have with his children.

Do not be afraid or hesitate to come in His presence, Jesus has opened the way for us.
