Daily Verses : Psalm 42
Key Verse : Psalm 119 : 164 : Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments.
David was a worshipper and even at a young age, he loves to play the harp and worship the Lord. He would never go through a day without worshipping God because God is the priority in his life. David would have the desire to meet with God everyday because he really loves God. Throughout his life, he would take God related things seriously. Even as a king and in whatever he does he would always involve God. God is always the center of his life, family, and kingdom. For example, he care more on the construction of the tabernacle of God vs. his palace. His heart always had the desire to be close to God and he always wants to please and lift His name on high in his life. As a king he took the people of Israel close to God and it is no surprise that Israel became strong and was blessed by God.
A characteristic of someone who loves and is intimate with God is someone who always have the desire to be in His presence.
Daily Action :
Today when I pray and worship God and meditate on His Word, I will make a new commitment to God to live more intimately with Him.
Daily Declaration :
Psalm 42 : 2 : As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.
Daily Declaration :
I will lift up my worship to God with my family until we feel His presence.
