POWER TO CREATE

Daily Verses : Genesis 1 : 1 – 25, Romans 4 : 17, Joshua 1 : 8

Key Verse : Romans 4 : 17b : … who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did

Today we will learn again of the importance of prayer through declaring – or speaking – the word of God. There is power behind our prayers of declaration. The Lord created the whole universe simply by speaking it into being. In the beginning, at the time of the Creation, there was only darkness over the earth. Then the Lord said to the darkness “Let there be light,” and there was light. Afterwards, the Lord said “Let there be a firmament/sky,” and the sky was created. The Lord continued, and thus was the story of Creation. The Lord created everything only through His words. From the moment you become born again and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, His Holy Spirit comes in to dwell in your life. This means that when we speak the word of God, the Holy Spirit within us will join in speaking the word as well so that whatever we speak will come into being. The power of creation exists in our mouths. Whatever scripture that we speak will come into being, including the word of God we speak outside of our declaration of the word. Because of this, there will be revival and the harvest of this nation when we pray and declare it in the prayer tower.

By declaring God’s word, we can create something out of nothing.

Daily Prayer :
Today, I will pray that the Holy Spirit would give me the courage to evangelize, even in situations where I have to leave my comfort zone or do something I am not used to.
