I READ: Colossians 3:12-25
In order for us to be new creations that are full of mercy, humility, gentleness, and patience we need to be filled with God’s love. Only God’s love will enable us to love one another. We are not able to love another with our own strength, especially those who have done wrong towards us. When we are full of God’s love we are able to guard our hearts, and humble ourselves to forgive. We need to guard ourselves in order for the peace of God to always be present in our hearts. This will enable us to have an understanding so that we are not easily offended and be angry towards others. Christ has to rule and reign in our hearts so that His peace will always live in us.
I DECLARE: Colossians 3:15 – And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful
