Philippians 4 : 19 : “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
The worries of life can attack just about anyone, anywhere. Especially nowadays where the world is not getting any better, worries can easily influence people’s hearts, emotions and thoughts, including God’s children’s.
It’s undeniable that food, shelter, job, future, and many other things are something that can’t be separated from people’s lives. Many people think if we have a lot of money, everything is resolved. If this does not happen, then worries tend to appear in our thoughts.
Praise the Lord that we as believers have a promise that’s assured, as long as we continue to have faith in Jesus and love Him wholeheartedly. The Bible tells us to know that the Lord has the control over this earth, even the universe. If God takes care of the birds in the air and the lilies and grass in the field, will He forsake the believers?
As God’s children, if there are any worries that bother our minds and hearts, throw away those feelings as soon as possible. Worry will not resolve our problems and needs. God teaches us how to prioritize in our lives. With this, all of our needs will be fulfilled.
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; this should be our focus when worries enter our lives. God’s kingdom speaks about the Father’s love that’s poured out through His Son Jesus Christ. He died to redeem the sins of the world so that we may have everlasting life with the Father in heaven. Build your fellowship with the Lord through prayer, reading and meditating on His Word, so that we may find His guidance and promises daily.
When we put God first above all things and chase after Jesus, who has all the blessings in this universe, then everything else will be added unto us. God’s kingdom is before us; the worries of this world are behind us. This means whatever we do will be successful because the Lord blesses us.
The Lord will work supernaturally and humans often won’t be able to comprehend it (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Depend on the Lord always; He is our Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Hallelujah, blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus.
