SPEAK THE WORD OF THE LORD

I READ: Joshua 1 : 1-8

Are we paying attention to what we say daily? Is every word spoken word about failure, lack, inabilities, disappointments, murmurs and angers? We need to be aware, negative words bring our spirit down and has no benefit. On the other hand, when we speak good and encouraging words, we are opening the door to God’s gifts in our life. We have to guard our heart and watch our mouth on a daily basis for us to be able to speak of good things and declare the Word of God. The Word of the Lord that we speak contains the promises given to us believers. During difficult or challenging situations, we shall go back to the Word of the Lord and speak of good things. Only then our faith will rise within us which will open the door to our solutions and answers to our prayers. The power is in our words!

I DECLARE: 2 Corinthians 4 : 13 We gave the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

I DO : What actions will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
