RESPECT YOUR SPIRITUAL LEADERS

I READ: 2 Thessalonians 3

The last letter written by Apostle Paul to the Church of Thessalonians was an instruction to support, respect, and give unending prayers towards their spiritual leaders. They are the ones working diligently in the house of the Lord. They share the Word of the Lord even though there may be many oppositions to their teachings. They have been given the responsibility to lead the congregation and to correct them when needed. At times, they’re challenged by those people who do not like to be corrected, guided, and taught. Apostle Paul reminded us to support spiritual leaders by being kind to them and also to appreciate their work by not going against their teaching.

I DECLARE: 1 Thessalonians 5 : 12 – 13 – And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
