REJOICE

Daily Verses: Galatians 5: 22, Philippians 4:1-9.

Key Verse: Philippians 4:4: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

There is a lot of verses that talk about how we have to rejoice. For example, Psalm 37:4 says that – Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. So, how does joy bring upon blessings in our life? The answer is because if we consistently have joy in our heart, we are showing God that we are satisfied with whatever we have in our lives. If we have joy in our heart, even if we’re in a bad situation, we’ll be able to give thanks and be satisfied. We will not complain and say negative things. Instead, words and feelings of thanksgiving towards God will flow out of our lives. We will be able to see that everything will bring good to us and believe that God is in control. If we’re able to do these things, God will be pleased and His favor and blessings will be upon our lives. If we continuously have a heart full of joy, we will not fall into sickness because the word of God says “A merry heart does good, like medicine…” To rejoice is a personal decision. So, if we decide to rejoice, we will get a positive consequence out of it.

Life is short so let us rejoice regardless of our condition.
