I READ: 2 Chronicles 20:1-25
What did King Jehoshaphat do when he faced problems? He didn’t look for ways out using his own strength, but instead, he surrendered the problems to the Lord. He sought after the Lord by praying and fasting with all of Judah. God answered their prayers and told them that He will be fighting the battle for them. God then told the people that all they needed to do was and praise and sing to the Lord when the enemy came. When they did exactly that, the Lord set ambushes against the enemy and they were defeated. The enemy attacked and killed one another. In the end, the nation of Judah experienced victory. They also were blessed with the valuables of the dead bodies.
I DECLARE: 2 Chronicles 20:15b – Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
