I READ: Mark 5:21-24, 35-43
There is one very good attitude that we can learn from Jairus, how patient he was in waiting for God to perform His miracle. Even when others had already experienced their miracle before him, such as the woman who was bleeding, Jairus still waited patiently. Jairus actually asked Jesus to heal his child who was dying first. Jesus was ready to visit the child, but in the middle of His journey, suddenly a bleeding woman postponed His visit. Jairus’ child even passed away while the Lord was on His way to visit him. Still Jairus did not complain to the Lord because Jesus didn’t put him first. The Lord saw his diligent and steadfast heart that was waiting on his miracle, no matter what had happened. In the end, Jesus raised the child up from the dead.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 6:12 – that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
