I READ: Colossians 3: 5-10, 2 Corinthians 5: 17
It is not enough for us to be believers of Jesus without any changes in our lives. What God wants us to do is to be believers who have left behind the old life and who have become new creations. He wants us to have undergone a change through the process of repentance. As new creations, we should reflect the characteristics of Christ and our lives should be led by the Holy Spirit. To grow into new creations, we must get rid of all the sins and abandon the old way of life that is not pleasing to God. Take a lot of time to meditate on God’s Word to get to know Jesus personally and try to live according to how He lived.. The Word of God will teach us and correct our old characteristics that are not pleasing to God.
