Daily Verses : Mark 1 : 29 – 34

Key Verse : Mark 1 : 31 : So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her.

Often times, we think that God’s miracle only happens for the big and impossible things in our lives. The truth is, we can also hope for miracles to happen in small things, even in every aspect of our lives. Miracles still happen in small things; and sometimes we don’t notice them, but God always notices them. An example of this is from the story we learned today. Peter’s mother-in-law had a fever; it’s not a serious illness, but Jesus truly cared for Peter’s life and his family. He healed Peter’s mother-in-law so she could serve the guests who came to their house with Him. He is truly the God who cares for our lives. Remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 10:30, the very hairs of our head are all numbered and known by God, it’s something we don’t pay attention to, but God does.

God is not only busy for the big things in our lives, but He is also busy for the small things in our lives.
