JOY

I READ: Galatians 5 : 22, Philippians 4:1-9

Joy brings blessings into our lives. Someone who has a joyful heart is showing to the Lord that he/she is satisfied with everything in his/her life. Even in bad situations, this type of a person will always be satisfied and give thanks. He/she will not complain or say negative words. He/she is able to see that there is something good behind everything that happens and he/she believes that God is in control over everything. This is pleasing to God and as a result He pours out his favors and blessings over this person’s life. To be joyful is a choice; so if we choose to be joyful at all times, then we will receive positive results.

I DECLARE: Proverbs 17:22 – A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
