I READ : Philippians 2 : 5 – 11
Focusing our mind on things that are pleasing to God does not always come easy. When we are in the midst of problems and struggles, our mind often wanders around thinking about what might happen and constantly trying to find ways out. If the outcomes turn out to be the ones that we do not expect, we will easily feel anxious, angry, and sad. The Word of God today teaches us to rest our mind on Jesus. So how does that work? We should set our mind on things that are less of us and more of Him so that in whatever we do we worship and please the Father.
I DECLARE: Philippians 4 : 8 ; Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
I DO : What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY : Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
