I READ: Galatians 2
One of Jewish traditions at that time was the importance of circumcision to proclaim their faith to God. In this letter, apostle Paul stated that no one is justified by tradition but by faith in Jesus Christ. Titus, one of Paul’s disciples was a Greek and he was not circumsized and Paul did not force this law unto him. Paul also indicated that God had called him to spread the gospel to those uncircumsized as well. The Lord God loves every nations, whether they are Jews or Greeks, circumcised or uncircumcised. Paul berated Peter because Peter unfairly treated those who were circumcised and uncircumcised and he looked down upon them and did not consider those who were uncircumcised.
I DECLARE: Galatians 2:20 – … and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
