I READ: Romans 4:18-25
These days God wants us as believers of Christ to learn to live not by what we see but live by faith. What our physical eyes see today are worrisome things – disappointing and frightening. God’s promises seem to be far-fetched. Often what God promises when we measure and compare with the reality is very contradictory. Abraham’s faith in the Lord’s promise was not affected by the situation and circumstances. The eyes of his faith continued to be fixed on God. This attitude is what we should practice in this life. Our faith often depends on the situations and circumstances that we have, as a result, in the end we do not experience the fulfillment of God’s promise in full.
I DECLARE: Romans 9:28 – For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
