I READ: Psalm 52:10-11, Philippians 4:6
There is power in thanksgiving. God wants us to always have a thanksgiving heart, although we might not be in the best situation. Give thanks and proclaim that God is good all the time; He is our helper in times of need. Don’t let anxiety hinder us from giving thanks to the Lord. When we are struggling with something, bring that concern in prayers and thanksgiving to God. When we do our part, He will finish the rest. The more we give thanks, the faster we will experience victory. The more we complain, the less likely we will be able to feel and experience God’s blessings in our lives. One of the most well-known examples was when the Israelites continuously complained on their way to the Promised Land. Their journey ended up being longer than it should have been.
I DECLARE: Philippians 4:6 – Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
