Daily Verses : Ephesians 2
Key Verse : Ephesians 2 : 8-9 : For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
We were all once sinners who lived according to the world’s way, who lived in the flesh, and who should be punished because of our sins. Yet, because of God’s great love and by His grace, we have been forgiven and freed from all of the wages of sin. We are forgiven and saved not because of our own works, our good deeds, and our obedience in following God’s commands. Not any of our actions can ever be perfect. However, God has gracefully given us salvation; it’s the gift of God. Jesus Christ is the One who has followed the path for that salvation. He has paid the full price with His blood for us who aren’t able to pay for it. Our salvation is only because of God’s grace. We were once people who didn’t have the right to receive God’s promise, Ephesians 2 : 12, people who lived under the law, Ephesians 2 : 15, yet because of His blood we are given the opportunity to receive God’s promise, Ephesians 2 : 13. We are fellow citizens with God’s people and dwellings in which God lives by His spirit, Ephesians 3 : 19-22.
God’s love has been proved by the grace that He has given to us through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
Daily Action :
I will find some time to pray and give thanks for God’s love that has saved me through Jesus’ sacrifice and for the salvation that I have received through God’s grace.
Daily Declaration :
Ephesians 2 : 12-13 : Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Daily Prayer :
I will lift up prayers of thanksgiving for America at the prayer tower with my friends in faith.
