I READ: Matthew 17: 14 – 20
Jesus taught his disciples how to perform miracles, and to make the impossible to be possible. Jesus reminded them to always have faith (verse 17, 20). Jesus then taught them to practice their faith through their actions. As disciples of God how can we do the same? In verse 18 we read that Jesus through his words (act of speaking His faith) cast out the demon that embodied a little boy. When we believe in God we can have the courage to pray in our spiritual warfare and pray to cast away all demons that are hindering us. In verse 20, Jesus declared words of faith. Jesus stated that we can also experience this type of miracle with what little faith we have that if we speak/act boldly with faith that mountains will move through our declaration.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
