“Restoration of all things”

Acts 3:21 NLT, “For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.”

Jesus will remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things as God promised long ago through His holy prophets. So, the final restoration will occur according to God’s standard, not human’s standard.

One of the restorations is the restoration of the church, which refers to the restoration of you and me. What will be restored? The things that are corrupted and lost because of the fall of man. When mankind fell into sin, something is corrupted and lost. What is it? It is the image and likeness of God. We will be restored in this area and be conformed to the image of Jesus.

The second restoration is the great commission of Jesus Christ. This restoration had taken place when the Holy Spirit was poured out 2000 years ago in the upper room of Jerusalem. That was the First Pentecost and the restoration started from then. And the restoration of the Church continues to happen until now. Jesus will only come down from heaven if the gospel of the Kingdom has been preached to the whole world as a testimony to all the nations. Beloved, this is a command for us! So, those who are conformed into His image will do this. Jesus then commanded the church through what’s called as the Great Commission.

The Great Commission of Jesus Christ is depicted in two gospels, Matthew 28:18-20, and Mark 16:15-18. Do you want Jesus to be with you to the end of the age? Do you want to be used by God to perform God’s miracle? You must preach the gospel! You must do the Great Commission of Jesus Christ! Only then will you drive out demons, speak in new tongues, pick up serpents and drink deadly poison but you will not get hurt. You will place your hands on sick people and they will be healed.

The third restoration is the unity among the body of Christ. Jesus prayed in John 17, “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

When the world knows, sees and believes that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior, it means that there will be a great harvest of souls. The key is to be in UNITY! We must be one! Therefore, if you still have something that you haven’t dealt with, deal with it! Do you want to be used by God? Everything that hasn’t been resolved must be resolved!

Now we are entering the era of the Third Pentecost, which refers to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will result in the last and greatest harvest of souls before the second coming of Jesus. This Third Pentecost will make us one. Because if we are not one, we cannot harvest! It begins from us, individuals, then the Church.
