Daily Verses : Matthew 4 : 1 – 11
Key Verse: Matthew 4 : 10 : Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
Today God teaches us how we can have victory over the temptations that the devil brings into our lives. We will learn right from the life of Jesus Himself. He is the only example that is perfect. He always wards off temptation and declares God’s word, “For it is written:….” The devil keeps on tempting Him, until eventually Jesus casts him out from his presence by saying “Away from me, Satan! For it is written:….” Jesus teaches us that if the devil offers us temptation, we have to fight it with God’s word. Always declare God’s word and cast the devil out in our lives. When Jesus casted out the devil, he left Him. Believe that when we cast out the devil, he will also leave us.
Don’t be deceived by the devil’s offers. Cast him out and fence him out from our lives with God’s word so he cannot return again.
Daily Action:
Today I will pray that the Holy Spirit will give me power so I will not easily be deceived by the devil’s temptations in the forms of worldly pleasures that he offers.

I will pray with my family and strengthen one another.
