TRAINED IN GIVING THANKS

Daily Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22.

Key Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18: in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

It is very easy to give thanks when things go our way or when we are in a state of happiness. But the challenge for us is whether we can still express our thanks when our conditions are so pressing and we are encountering afflictions. When we possess the ability to give thanks to our Lord during difficult situations, we are essentially offering a sweet-smelling aroma to Him. Thanksgiving is the first step to reverse any situation. There are few things that will occur when we give thanks in any condition. Giving thanks will please God; as a result, He will intervene and provide assistance and/or perform miracles. Giving thanks would also make the devil to flee; because he had failed to persuade us to grumble. Thanksgiving will satisfy us with joy and peace of God. Regulate ourselves to give thanks when we wake up daily. The more we trained ourselves to give thanks, the more prepared we are to give thanks in all circumstances.

A heart that is filled with thanksgiving will have a radiant face.
