TRAINED IN FAITH

Daily Reading: Genesis 15:1-6.

Key Verse Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Abraham was a person who practiced faith. He believed in God’s promise even though the situation seemed impossible. In the New Testament, we see how the Lord Jesus only did miracles in places where he found people of faith, which are people who believe that the Lord Jesus is able to create nonexistent things to exist. So to have faith is essential if we want to experience miracles.
Faith cannot just show up and become strong on its own. Faith has to be practiced for it to be strengthened. A few factors determine how strong a person’s faith is: how much time he/she spends on daily devotions with the Lord, how much Word of God he/she reads and hears, how he/she responds to processes and lessons given by God, and how obedient this person is in doing The Word of God. These days we have to keep on practicing our faith so that we can experience many miracles. We have to keep going strong and stay faithful till the end.

Be diligent in declaring the Word of God for it will strengthen our faith.
