I READ: Matthew 27 : 50 – 51, Hebrews 10 : 19 – 22
Jesus Christ gave His life as the perfect sacrifice to make a path for us; believers to enter the most holy place to the Throne of Grace. In Matthew 27:50-51 this path was symbolized by the tearing of the temple’s veil in two from top to bottom. His selfless action enables us to experience God’s Holy presence without the feeling of condemnation. Hebrews 4:16 explains that when we received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior in our hearts and accepting the remission of sins through His blood, we received the honor to freely enter His presence. Therefore, as believers, let us give thanks to God for this privilege through our prayers. When we pray, we need to have the confidence and faith that God is listening to our prayers.
I DECLARE: Jeremiah 33 : 3 : “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
I DO: What actions will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
