Key Verse: Philippians 4:8: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Our mind is like a fertile land for the devil’s attack. The fiery arrows of the evil one (negative thoughts, wrong assumptions, filthy thoughts and thoughts that doubt God’s Word) will be fired at the right moment when we are unguarded. The devil knows when he succeeds in taking control over our minds, the bad things in our minds will enter our hearts and lead us to sinful actions; and this is his plan. Therefore, it is important for us to always guard our minds to be well and positive in facing unpleasant situations or facing people who do things we do not want. Let us only focus our minds on good and positive things, and look at people’s strengths rather than their weaknesses. If everyone thinks positively toward one another, there won’t be a place for the devil to create division.
Put on the helmet of salvation to protect our minds from the devil’s attack.
Daily Action:
I have to guard my mind so it can always be positive by immediately rejecting every intimidation (negative thinking toward someone or a situation).
Daily Declaration:
Colossians 3:2: Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Daily Prayer:
I pray so that God’s church is renewed in their way of thinking and take the action to be salt and light for this nation.
