I READ: John 4:31-37, Matthew 6:33
When Jesus becomes our priority, we would always think about Godly matters in our everyday lives. Our devotion today reminds us about when Jesus told His disciples that the most important thing in His daily life, which He also referred to as daily food, was to do the Father’s will and accomplish His work. It is good for us to think more of heavenly matters than matters that are on earth. Whatever we collect on earth, such as treasure, fame, or position, we will not bring them to eternity later. Only the heavenly reward we collect during our lifetime in the world will go with us to heaven. So, let’s think more about things above and His works that include salvation for our brothers and sisters, prayers for cities and nations, and other spiritual matters.
I DECLARE: Revelation 3:11 – I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
