I READ: 2 Samuel 6:14-23
King David was known as someone who loved the Lord very much, and that he always prioritized Him in every aspect of his life. Even during the time when he was reigning over Israel as the most respectful king, he still put God first before anything else. His love made him joyfully dance before the Lord when the tabernacle was moved to the city of David. Even though his wife, Mikhal, mocked him, David chose to set aside his pride and humble himself in the presence of the Lord. When we prioritize Jesus, our focus no longer revolves around us alone because as children of God who have been made righteous, He becomes the center of our lives that we need not worry about what others think about us.
I DECLARE: 1 Peter 5:6 – Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
