THE OPEN GOSPEL

 I READ: 1 Thessalonians 1

The Thessalonians were a congregation who understood the call of God in their lives.  Through the testimony of their lives, they were a blessing to their community and even to other cities.  They not only preached the gospel, but their own lives became an open gospel that can be enjoyed by everyone.  Therefore Paul no longer needed to preach the gospel to the cities around Thessalonica, because through their blessed lives, the gospel was spread to other cities.  The Thessalonians were a congregation of joy, a model for all in their faith and always doing well for all.  Let us all do what the Thessalonians did, so that the gospel can be spread through our lives and be a blessing to others.

I DECLARE: 1 Thessalonians 1:3 – remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,

I DO : What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
