Daily verses : Psalm 20
Key verse : Psalm 20 : 6 : N ow this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.
To experience success in this life, we need to always be anointed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is power that God has given in our lives for us to experience victory. We succeed not by our strength and intelligence, but because the Holy Spirit works in us, Zechariah 4 : 6. David, during his whole lifetime as King, always asked for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to guide him and give him strength so He could rule the people of Israel in the right way, Maz 51 : 11. During his ruling period, the people of Israel lived in God’s abundant blessings. It’s the other way around with Saul. When he was the King of Israel, his life wasn’t under God’s anointing. So, the people of Israel experienced great losses when they fought the Philistines, 1 Samuel 16 : 14. Let these two characters become an important lesson for us these days to always rely on the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Ask for a new anointing from the Holy Spirit each day so we will experience success each day.
Daily Action :
I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to fill me with His power so I can experience success this whole day.
Daily Declaration :
Zechariah 4 : 6 : So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Daily Prayer :
I will pray with my family and ask the Holy Spirit to anoint our family with His power.
