I READ: Matthew 5: 13 – 16; Mark 9: 50
Salt is one of the main cooking ingredients in every recipe. Without salt, the most delicious meal would be tasteless. The food will be plain and won’t taste good. Practicing the Word of God is like having salt in our life. It teaches us in all aspects of life. When we live by the Word of God, we are applying great flavor wherever we go. We radiate Godly characters in our conversations, our environment and our presence. As an example, when we are encountering a tense situation charged with high negative energy, as a child of God, we would be able to neutralize it and maybe provide a solution for everyone. In the midst of a hard situation, if we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will be able to bring an environment of peace.
I DECLARE: Matthew 5: 9: Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
