I READ: Job 1:1-22.
Job was a righteous and honest man. He feared the Lord and stayed away from evil. When the devil took away all of Job’s wealth, health, and family, he still did not sin. He did not accuse/blame God for all that’s happened to him. The life of Job was proof that he was a man who respected God. Job knew the Lord as a great God, a God who had full control over his life. Job’s great respect for the Lord moved the Lord’s heart to restore Job’s life. Our respect for God is not measured by how often we go to church or how much we minister for Him. But it is measured through how we live our life, whether or not we live according to His will. The more we respect God, the more miracles we’ll see happen in our lives.
I DECLARE: John 5:23: that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
