RELENTLESS

I READ: Genesis 32:22-32

Genesis 32 tells a story about Jacob when he wrestled against God in Bethel.  Jacob was not willing to let go of God until He blessed him.  Then God changed his name to Israel as he won the struggle.  Determination and relentless characters within Jacob caused God to bless him.  From the lineage of Jacob, a great nation was born, a chosen nation of Israel.  On the other occasion we saw his relentless character again during his time with Laban.  He was pursuing Rachael for years until she became his wife.  The word of God states, “Ask and it shall be given, knock and the door will be answered”.  Let us relentlessly pursue the Lord like Jacob, until we receive what we are asking for and receive our miracles.

I DECLARE: Psalm 37: 5 – Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
