Daily Verses: Matthew 6 : 25 – 34
Key Verse: Matthew 6 : 33 : But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Someone who puts himself above others or God is a good example of a Christian who is still an infant. That person will not care about the need of others or God but he/she will only think about his/her own. A Christian who’s not at an infant level will put the need of others and God above his/her own. That person will put God and His ministry above their own private need. The Word of God says that if we put God’s work/ministry above our own desire/need, God will bless us abundantly. We will experience what our mind has never conceived, ears have never heard, and eyes have never seen (1 Corinthians 2:9).
Let us learn to put God above everything else and we’ll be amazed at His blessings.
I will learn to put God above all my personal needs/problems because I believe that it will please God’s heart and I will be blessed abundantly.
Matthew 22 : 37 : Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’”
I will meditate on God’s love, His sacrifice on the cross and give thanks to Him.
