PATIENCE

I READ: Galatians 5:16-26.

Patience is of one the many fruits of the Spirit that the children of God must embody. We must have experienced a time in our lives where our lack of patience towards other people or God’s provision caused us to face some sort of consequences. Having patience will guard us from acting on impulsive decisions. Imagine what could happen if God does not have patience in dealing with us when we constantly go against His words and act on our sins. We may as well face death. Our love towards God and towards life requires us to have patience in order for us to see an improvement/transformation in other people or our situations. Arguments and confrontations can be avoided amongst ourselves when we have self-control and patience towards one another.

I DECLARE: Proverb 14:29:”He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly”.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
