I READ: James 5:7 – 11
In this modern time, the values of patience and diligence have gradually decreased. People tend to have the desire to get everything done instantly and enjoy the results of their work right away. James suggests that blessed are those who are patient. While waiting for the second coming of Jesus Christ, we should continually be patient in the face of adversity and fully surrender our lives to God. Let us be diligent before the Lord as well as in whatever we do on this earth, including our devotion, tithing, faithful application of the Word of God, as well as ministry. In all these things, keep our hope and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ because when the time comes we will be able to fully receive and enjoy the harvest.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 6:15 – And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
