Daily Verses : 1 Corinthians 15 : 54a – 58
Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:57 : But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our victory is in the Lord Jesus Christ. When we focus on the victory that the Lord Jesus has achieved over His enemies and against death, we will also experience victory. If He has been victorious then those who are with Him will also be victorious. Let us be full of victory; all the victories that the Lord Jesus has done for us in the past, He will also do again in our lives. David was someone who always had great experiences with the Lord because the Lord gave him victory after victory. In his youth, the Lord was with him while he shepherded his father’s sheep, He gave him victory in defeating lions and bears. David knew and was sure that the Lord would give Him victory and not defeat. This was the condition of David’s heart when he battled Goliath, the giant from Philistine. This should also be the condition that our hearts are in if we want to experience victory.
We need to always realize that in Christ there is only victory!
DAILY ACTION:
I will direct my eyes only to the Lord’s victory and not to my life’s problems and burdens.
DAILY DECLARATION :
Romans 8:37 : “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. ”
DAILY PRAYER :
Today I will pray and lift up a song of worship about the Lord’s victory, until I feel His presence come into my heart.
