OPENNESS

I Read: Genesis 45: 1-15

Joseph was separated from his brothers for more than 10 years and He lived in Egypt because his jealous brothers and sisters sold him to an Egyptian.  Joseph experienced so many great struggles until the time came when God appointed him to be the viceroy of Egypt.  There came a time when Egypt and Israel experienced drought and hunger.  But as a viceroy, Joseph had gathered enough grain to meet the needs of the Egyptians.  A day came when his brothers came to Egypt to buy wheat and Joseph finally revealed himself to his brothers.  He did not hold hatred and resentment against his brothers.  He kissed and hugged all his brothers.  Although Joseph experienced bitterness because of his brothers yet he opened his heart towards them and restored their unity.

I DECLARE: James 5: 16: Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray for my personal prayer request
