KINDNESS

I READ: Romans 12: 17-21

Today we learn from God Himself on how to deal with fellow humans who hate us.  He did not overcome evil with evil, but He overcame evil with kindness.  Although he knew that Judas was going to betray him, he washed Judas’ feet just like what he did for all his other disciples.  He didn’t treat Judas differently. He hates sin, but He loves sinful humans.  The kindness he had for Judas kept the unity between his disciples.  If he had rebuked and punished Judas at that time, his disciples would split, and some may choose to side with Judas.  God kept the unity between them, so that together they can remain strong when the Lord was crucified.

I DECLARE: Romans 12: 21: – Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray for my community such as my school friends, workplace friends, neighbors, LIGHT cell group and my city.
