NOT BEYOND WHAT YOU ARE ABLE

Daily Verses: John 5: 1 – 9

Key Verse: John 5: 6: When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

From this story we can conclude that the Lord will never leave us to face any test or trial that is beyond what we can handle, 1 Corinthians 10:13. The devil strives to overthrow us, but the Lord will surely provide us with a way out so that we can overcome whatever test or trial that we may face. Look to this story of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda. He was close to losing all hope with regard to what was going on in his life (verse 7) but the Lord knew, and He came to provide a way out for him at the right time. In the end, the lame man was able to experience the miracle of perfect healing. The Lord loves us so much, and He is sure to give us a way out and victory for all of our struggles. Do not be moved, continue believing.

The Lord will make a way even when there does not seem to be one – see with eyes of faith!

Daily Action:
If I am experiencing a struggle that has yet to be addressed by the Lord until this day, I will not be disappointed. I will continue to believe that everything will work out for God according to God’s time.

Daily Declaration:
1 Corinthians 10 : 13 : No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Daily Prayer:
I will lift up prayers of intercession for people who I know who are going through struggles – that God would provide them with strength and an answer to their prayers at God’s right time, so that the glory of God will be realized in their lives.
