NEW HOPE

 I READ: Romans 8:24,25; Matthew 6:25-34

When a person is facing seemingly never-ending problems or sickness and unanswered prayers, he or she tends to be discouraged and feel worried. The Bible says that anxiety does not add more years to our lives, but otherwise. Constantly feeling worried will add more problems that were not there in the first place, causing unrestful heart and sleeping disruption that leads to health complications. Don’t worry because Jesus has already borne our anxieties. His death on the cross opened the way for us to experience God’s grace. God prepares new hopes for us every morning. Having hope in Jesus Christ is one thing we can be sure about because He already died and rose again, and He is sitting on the right-hand side of God in heaven.

I DECLARE: Hebrews 6:19-20a – This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us…

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
