MERCY

I READ: Acts 4:32-37

The many needs in life and high maintenance lifestyle create worries of being in lack for many people.  As a result, they will turn to be selfish individuals who only care about themselves.  There will be no desire to give.  Human beings are merciful to those who first show them so.  God wants us to be merciful to everyone and to give with the right motivation.  Merciful people will not be calculative with God and others.  When they have the opportunity to give, they will do so.  Being merciful will bless the person because it will give him or her joy in due time.  They won’t be in lack because God’s help will arrive on time.  When we give, God is actually indebted to us.  He will also repay in folds what we’ve done for Him and others.

I DECLARE: Matthew 5:7 – Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
