I READ: Joshua 1:7-9
When God was preparing the Israelites to enter into the promised land, He told Joshua to remind them to declare, meditate, and put God’s Word into practice, as written in the book of law. If they did so, God promised blessings and victories in their journey. However, they had to be careful because there were warnings in the Word that they ought to obey. Just like Joshua, we need to hunger and thirst for God’s Word every day. We need to reach the point where we feel lacking in something when we don’t meditate on His Word, which is the living water that satisfies our spirit and soul. Therefore, if our heart and spirit are running dry, start reading and meditating on His Word again.
I DECLARE: Matthew 5: 6 – Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
