LOVE ACCOMPANIED BY GENEROSITY/MERCY

Daily Verse: Luke 6:30-36.

Key Verse: Luke 6:36: “Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.”

These days, the price of goods has escalated and the necessities of life has inflated. Due to these predicaments many have developed the fear of hardship and only thinking of self-interest needs. But the Word of God does not recognize seasons and conditions; therefore as a faithful children of God, we need to possess courage to go against the world’s current and continue to practice generosity/mercy. Generous/merciful people will not be petty towards each other and God. Always take the opportunity to give. Don’t be weary in giving because when you give, you will feel that joy will take over your heart and you will reap in due season. Generous individuals will not be ever lacking because God will provide when they need it the most. Generous individuals are individuals that lend to God and God will pay them back exponentially. Mercy or generosity is the character of Christ; therefore we must be merciful towards others just as our Father in heaven also is merciful to us.

Miserly and close-fisted are characters that will be stumbling blocks to others.
