Daily Verse: Ruth 1.

Key Verse: Psalm 100: 5: ”For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”

A very clear example of love accompanied by faithfulness is the love that Ruth had towards her mother in law, Naomi. Ruth continued to follow Naomi despite the uncertainties of her future in a foreign land that Naomi had selected. God accounted her faithfulness and blessed her with a good and wealthy husband and from her offspring, came the Messiah. Faithfulness is also one of the characters of our God, He faithfully brings up the sun every day and He faithfully protects and cares for our lives. God appreciates people that are faithful and loyal and he promised to entrust them with bigger things if they are faithful on small things. (Luke 16:10). Faithfulness can be measured by how well we obey God’s word as well as how well we do what have been entrusted in our lives. Faithfulness also can be seen in a relationship. If we want to be seen as a Faithful individual in the eyes of God and mankind, we need to be faithful in all things.

Faithfulness is the character of Christ that must exist in our lives.
