Daily Verses : 2 Thessalonians 1
Key Verse : 2 Thessalonians 1 : 12 : that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Apostle Paul is reminding us today to always live in God’s calling so that God’s name will be glorified through our life. Be patient in fulfilling God’s calling and never stop doing acts of kindness in our work of faith. Paul has delivered this message before in 1 Thessalonians 1. However, this message is so important that Paul repeated it again in 1 Thessalonians 2. The purpose of us living is not to be rich, famous, successful, smart, etc. The main purpose of our life is to live in His calling. Everything that we produce in this world, we will not be able to bring it Heaven. However the calling in our life is everlasting and we will bring this up to heaven. The reward will be everlasting if we fulfill God’s calling in our life and this is why we should guide our life to God’s calling. Let this be a priority and the number one thing in our life over other worldly and temporary things.
Let us guide our heart to things that are everlasting and not temporary.

I will pray in the Spirit until I feel a new strength that fills my heart.

2 Thessalonians 1 : 11 — Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power

I will continue to pray for my VIP list and invite them to attend Sunday service this week.
