I READ: Romans 8:1-17
When we believe in Jesus, He will set us free from the law of sin. When we completely surrender ourselves to God, the Holy Spirit will enable us to live in the Spirit so that we’re able to defeat our sinful flesh. Unfortunately, there are still many children of God who believe in Jesus but aren’t willing to surrender themselves to the Holy Spirit. They still want live in and compromise with their sinful nature and do not have the desire to repent from it. They use God’s great grace as a license to sin, thinking that He will always grant them forgiveness anytime and anywhere they need it. Today God reminds us to not only believe in Jesus but also surrender our lives entirely to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
I DECLARE: Romans 8:13 – For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
