JESUS CHRIST

I READ: Acts 2:36-39

Who is Jesus according to me?  Peter made a bold statement to the Israelites and to the world when he said that Jesus Christ is Lord.  This means that Jesus is worthy to be praised, exalted, magnified, and revered.  Jesus is Lord because He is able to forgive all of our sins and trespasses.  Oftentimes as believers, we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord, however our lifestyle states otherwise.  How do we make Jesus as our Lord in our lives?  Peter reminded us to repent of our sins and stay away from evil.  Repentance needs to be done daily.  Through the act of repentance, we are honoring and prioritizing the Lord over all things.  We also need to humble ourselves before the Lord.  We have to know that we are not able to do anything without the Lord.

I DECLARE: John 15:5 – I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
