I READ: Luke 10:25-37, 1 John 2:3-4
The length of time someone has been a Christian is not a good measurement of how well he/she knows the Lord. So then how do we know if we truly know HIm or not? In Titus 1:16 I says, “They profess to know God, but in the works they deny Him”. Through this passage, we learn that the Lord measures our work. Why through our work? Because through our actions, it can be seen whether or not we are doing the will of the Lord, as it is written in 1 John 2:3-4. What is the Lord’s will? It is loving our God with all of our heart and caring for others without any limitations and expectations.
I DECLARE: Hosea 4:6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
