Key Verse : Matthew 5:16 : “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”.
Bustling lifestyle, economic inflation and a multitude of dilemmas tend to make human to focus on self-interest needs. The Word of God reminds us that we have to continue to be luminous in the midst of this chaotic world filled with tension and darkness. One of the ways to let others see the light of Christ in us is through acts of kindness. An act of kindness can bring a person to Jesus, provide relief to a heavy heart and satisfy the needs of a person. Let us not expect anything in return when we do an act of kindness. We should be doing those kind things sincerely and willingly because those kind things are not just a blessing to others but we’re also sowing the seed. Later on when we’re in heaven, we will receive the fruits of our labor. The more we do acts of kindness, the more we will also receive acts of kindness because whatever we sow, we will reap.
This is the time for us to show that we’re different through our kind actions. However, we have to remember to do it generously.
Daily Action:
I will do acts of kindness as much as possible so that my life can be a blessing for others and the Lord’s name be glorified.
Daily Declaration:
2 Thessalonians 3:13: “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good”
Daily Prayer:
I will pray so that my family members can be restored, be willing to help each other, and be kind to one another.
