We are living in the era where every kind of information is available online, everything is more exposed and what used to be considered sin before is no longer sin anymore. Therefore, we need extra ability to maintain a holy and godly life. Godliness is a life away from sin and is a command present in the Word of God. We need to strive everyday for godliness, not with our own strength, but with the strength from the Lord. The foundation of a godliness is the Word of God (Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”). Therefore, it is important for us to know the content of the Word of God and do it with full obedience so that every decision and conduct we make is based on the Word of God. There are advantages that will follow when we live in godliness, among others are: their paths will be made straight (Proverbs 11:5), their prayers are heard by the Lord (John 9:31) and they are delivered from temptations (2 Peter 2:9). The Word of God says we need to live in holiness and godliness so we can be pleasing before Him and blessed by Him.
The devil flees when he is faced with those who live in godliness
Daily Action :
Everyday I have to pray so that I am given the power to resist sin and reject what is not pleasing before the Lord

Today I will pray for the Lord to bring salvation to every person on my VIP prayer list
